the mud-slingers, cockroach, and bartender

i was reading 'The Warren Buffett Way' by Robert Hagstrom (yes I read) and chanced upon this passage:
"Unfortunately, there will always be a small percent of society, but a large absolute number, of small-minded envious miscreants who can't create a life of their own. Instead they love to throw mud. The purpose of life for these misguided souls is to attempt to create pain where they can't otherwise create gain... And when mud is thrown,... contemplate the criticism or allegation without feeling judged by it."
I like the way he writes. He was writing about the mudslingers of Warren Buffet - only the most brilliant of investors in the world. Very... soothing, don't you think?

i displayed my valor recently.... by running away from a flying cockroach. my friend was so freaked out, she screamed with terrible persistence. AT 3AM. the neighbors came up to check if something was amiss. that was a little embarrassing.

i attended a wedding where the bartender himself got pretty high. yes, he was Indian. ah.. our rich heritage.

Soccer investments...
